Privacy Policy

We collect only the information needed to run our website and serve our customers:

• Account information: your email address and password when you create an account. Passwords are stored in encrypted (hashed) form by our database provider; we cannot see them.
• Rewards and order records: your Mythic Rewards points, tier and, where applicable, records of orders linked to your account (items, amounts and dates).
• Launch list: your email address if you join our launch list.
• Order requests and messages: anything you send us by email or phone, such as your name, organization, shipping address, phone number and the products you want.
• Technical information: our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical data, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver and secure the website.

We do not collect payment card numbers on this website.

• To create and manage your account and your Mythic Rewards points.
• To respond to order requests, confirm orders, ship products and provide support.
• To email you about product releases if you joined our launch list.
• To verify eligibility and help ensure products are sold only for research use, as described in our Terms of Service.
• To keep the website secure, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. The website uses your browser's storage only for things it needs to work: keeping you signed in to your account, and remembering that you completed the researcher verification during your current visit (this answer is not sent to us).

Do Not Track: because we do not track you across other websites, we do not change our practices in response to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, who may use it only to provide their services to us:

• Vercel: website hosting.
• Supabase: our database and account sign-in.
• Our email provider: to send and receive email, including account confirmation emails.
• Shipping carriers (such as USPS or UPS): your name and address, to deliver orders.
• Payment processors: when online payments are offered, payment details will be handled directly by our processor, not stored by us.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, sale or transfer of our business.

We keep account and rewards information while your account is open. We keep order records as long as needed for business, tax and legal purposes. You can leave the launch list or ask us to delete your account at any time (see below), and we will delete information we are not required to keep.

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we have about you, and provide a copy;
• correct information that is inaccurate;
• delete your account and personal information;
• remove you from our launch list or other emails.

Email support@mythicresearch.com from the address linked to your account or the list. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request. California residents may have additional rights under California law, and we will honor them where they apply.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and database access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our website is intended only for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our business changes, for example when we add online payments. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the effective date at the top. If changes are significant, we will also notify account holders by email.
